After leaving corporate-America in 2008, Mr. Amen officially went on to start his own talent management company in which he provided services as an advisor, scout, consultant, and talent manager to clients in both professional sports and the entertainment industry. After years of profitable investments on Wall Street, he now funds musical talent(s) and film projects as an executive producer of independent films. He also owns Cairo Amen Apparel (a private clothing label) and an independent record label known as Copper Tone Music. Cairo is currently a member of both the Hollywood Chamber-of-Commerce and the Greater Los Angeles African American Chamber-of-Commerce (GLAAACC) with future plans of running for public office.
